The Lincoln County Economic Development Council (LCEDC) is seeking an Executive Director. The LCEDC partners with Lincoln County to manage their contract with the Dept. of Commerce to provide economic development on behalf of the state. The Executive Director has charge of the day-to-day management of the property, business, and affairs of the Corporation and conducts a diverse and ever changing range of activities within the realm of economic development.

The successful applicant will be self-directed and will perform business retention, expansion, and attraction through planning, outreach, and collaboration. The applicant must be able to manage multiple projects, meet contract requirements and deadlines, and report to a board of directors on a regular basis. Broadband planning experience a plus.

Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Planning, Economics, or a related field. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Must possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting and in the field. May be subject to repetitive motion such as data entry, extended periods of mental concentration, as well as bending, reaching, and lifting. Salary D.O.E.
